The Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) in the small town of Laie in the North Shore offers ancient Hawaiian cultural experience like nowhere else in Hawaii. It’s not only good for a whole family adventure but you’ll also experience another part of the Hawaiian culture that you didn’t even know exists and the breathe of life show is fantastic!

The Manoa Falls trail (see more photos) on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, is one of the most popular hikes in the Honolulu area, mainly because it is easily accessible from Waikiki, either via car or city bus, and it is classified as an easy hike. Bring bug spray and it can be slippery.

Hanauma Bay Hawaii is one of the most popular and most visited beaches outside of Waikiki and the North Shore beaches.  But it’s not so much about the beach as it is about the marine life nature preserve, and the amazing Hanauma Bay snorkeling experience!  With over 300 different Hawaiian fish species lurking about the shallow coral reefs, it is easy to see why this Oahu Beach holds its fame!

Waikiki Beach

Waikiki Beach is one of the most popular and beautiful beaches. The water is warm. I could lay in the sun all day. My only regret was I didn’t get to spend more time at the beach.

Leonard’s Bakery

Leonard’s had a line out the door when we went. It’s a small bakery that make Portuguese donuts that they call Malasadas.

Lanikai Beach

Lanikai beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the United States. The White powdery sand is simple stunning.

All of Oahu in One Day Tour
All in a Day Oahu Tour

This was a fun tour that I went on with my mother and two sons. You’ll start the Oahu tour by exploring the upscale neighborhoods of East Oahu and then travel along the southeast coastline past the Halona Blowhole and Sandy Beach. See the cliffs of Makapuu with their stunning view of Rabbit Island, and then continue through the Hawaiian Homestead lands of Waimanalo and laidback Kailua town.

Then you’ll travel up the tree-lined Pali highway for a stop at the 1,186-foot Pali Lookout – the site of King Kamehameha’s last battle with unsurpassed views of the windward coast.

This was my first time visiting Hawaii but it will not be my last cannot wait to go back. Check out my family video below.
