On Monday, Kimora Simons went live and explained the issues with Russell Simmons deep, she says she’s had Russ blocked on social media for a long time, yet he still continues to post like they’re good friends.
In a tearful Instagram Live broadcast, Kimora told the world that Russell has been verbally attacking their children and lying about the status of his relationship with his daughters.
Aoki also took to Instagram Live to explain the current situation regarding her disgraced father and how he is “awful” not only to Aoki but also to her sister, Ming Lee Simmons.
“I have done everything I could do, since I was 15 I have tried my hardest to not have drama, to be quiet and calm for the sake of the family that I love,” Russell and Kimora’s 20-year-old daughter wrote on Monday.
Kimora ended her 11-year marriage to Russell in 2009 citing ‘irreconcilable differences.’ They also share 23-year-old daughter Ming Lee Simmons.
The former married couple have been warring for years, with Russell accusing Kimora in 2021 of stealing stocks to pay her embattled husband Tim Leissner’s $44M bail.
Their youngest daughter Aoki, is a Harvard University grad who currently works as an intern for New York City Mayor Eric Adams.
