Jennifer Lopez has officially filed for divorce from Ben Affleck after two years of marriage. 

According to TMZ, she filed the paperwork in Los Angeles on Tuesday — the same day as the two-year anniversary of their second wedding ceremony that took place in Georgia.

This is sad. I was rooting for this couple. Lopez listed the date of separation as April 26, 2024, meaning they haven’t been a couple for nearly four months.

TMZ reports that there is no prenuptial agreement in place allegedly.

Affleck, 51, and Lopez, 55, were initially together from 2002 to 2004. They ended their first engagement in 2004, and went on to marry and have kids with other people, before rekindling their flame in 2021.
