The Met Gala 2025 brought together the biggest names in art, culture, fashion, film, theater, music, sports, technology, and more—not only to celebrate the spring exhibition at The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute and raise funds for the cultural institution, but to show off their best interpretations of the evening’s theme.

In support of this year’s exhibit, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” the Met Gala 2025’s dress code was Tailored for You, a concept inspired by the show’s focus on menswear and suiting. According to The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute, the evening’s dress code was “purposefully designed to provide guidance and invite creative interpretation.”
