Summer Summer Summer Time is drawing near. There is nothing more fun than summer entertaining. The key to any successful BBQ is good food, music, a pool, and lots of laughter.

Here are my must have side dishes and recipes that will make your summer cookout the talk of the town.

Roasted Corn-

Summer takes a turn when sweet corn starts to show up! Who doesn't love the simplicity of some good 'ol corn on the cob?!

RECIPE- Wrap corn in aluminum foil, add olive oil, pepper, kosher or sea salt, thyme, and parsley. The flavor in the corn is yummy.

Deviled Eggs-

RECIPE- This is the perfect recipe for a party or gathering. This recipe is a recipe that I adopted from my mother, but delicious is a understatement. The ingrediants are hard boild eggs, mayonnaise, and my secret ingredient canned oysters. Mixed the mayonnaise, oysters, and cooked yoke and cut egg in half and scoop mixture inside. Salt and Pepper (optional).

Guacamole-

RECIPE- I am the guacamole queen. Based on the size of the party I would say you want a minimum of 4 avacados, cilantro, red onion, 1 lime, 2 roma tomatoes, a pinch of cumin, kosher salt and pepper seasoned to your liking.

Bake Beans-

Grab your best friends, crank up your grill and make these delicious Southern Baked Beans.  There is nothing that goes better with a juicy hamburger in the summer than our favorite family baked bean recipe.  It’s the perfect time of year to turn on your grill and invite your friends over for a fun cookout dinner.  One …

RECIPE- Purchase Bush bake beans (vegetarian) or whatever flavor you like. Mix in mustard, butter, BBQ sauce, and brown sugar together. Place in oven and let everything come together. The beans are so flavorful. Note: Sometimes I will add ground beef and bell pepper and onion when I want some meat in it.

Cole Slaw-

Potatoe Salad-

RECIPE- Okay here is the thing the Potato Salad has to be on point, not everyone can make good potatoe salad. Here is the ingredients I like, but feel free to comment and let me know your recipe for potatoe salad. My ingredients are red potatoes, mayonnaise, mustard, celery, hot dog relish, and green onions. Do not over cook the potatoes you want potato salad not smashed potatoes. I also like to add salt, garlic powder, pinch of pepper, sugar, and paprika.

RECIPE- A party is not a part without a signature drink. My go to drink is Sangria. I always buy a bottle from Walmart less than five bucks a bottle and add fruit to it (strawberry, blueberry, apples etc.) and place a lemon or rosemary fig to style the drink up. You can never go wrong with Sangria.
