Cardi B has filed for a divorce from Migos rapper Offset, The Jasmine Brand, TMZ, and The Blast report. Online records in Fulton County, Georgia show that there is a contested divorce case between Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar (aka Cardi B) and Kiari Kendrell Cephus (aka Offset). The case was filed today (September 15). According to Page Six, a hearing is scheduled for November 4.

Cardi B and Offset  married in September 2017, making the announcement public with an on-stage proposal later that month. In April 2018, Cardi revealed her pregnancy on Saturday Night Live. She gave birth to her daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus in July 2018.

In December 2018, Cardi B claimed that she and Offset were splitting. “I’m gonna always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father,” Cardi said at the time. Shortly after, Offset interrupted Cardi’s set at Rolling Loud with flowers and pleaded, “TAKE ME BACK, CARDI.” The two reconciled, with Offset joining Cardi on stage as she accepted her 2019 Grammy Award for Best Rap Album.

In February 2019, Offset announced his debut solo album FATHER OF 4 by sharing a promotional video that included footage of Cardi giving birth to Kulture. The album features a collaboration with Cardi B called “Clout.”

Recently, Cardi discussed her sophomore album in an interview with ELLE, stating, “Of course, it’s going to have my Lemonade moments, my personal relationship moments.”

Cardi B is on a roll with her latest single WAP burning up the charts. We hope the can forge a healthy co parenting relationship.
