I
It is with great sadness that I am announcing the death of Luke Perry. A few days ago I heard he suffered a massive stroke, but never once did I imagine that he would pass away. Luke Perry is such apart of my teenage years. Luke played the loner Dylan McKay on ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’. The love story between Dylan and Brenda will forever be apart of television history. “Beverly Hills, 90210” and “Melrose Place” was weekly must see television. “Beverly Hills, 90210” holds a special place in my heart because on the show the characters graduated from high school in 1993 which was the same year I graduated from high school.
The “Beverly Hills, 90210,” alumni went on to a busy career in television and film that included, most recently, the CW series “Riverdale,” died on Monday in Los Angeles. He was 52.
His family announced the death. He had been hospitalized after a stroke last Wednesday.
Perry will appear posthumously in Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” playing the real-life Canadian-American actor Wayne Maunder who starred in the CBS Western TV show “Lancer.”
He is survived by his daughter Sophie and his son Jack, a professional wrestler who goes by the ring name “Jungle Boy” Nate Coy.
Prayers to his family and friends.
You will be greatly missed!
