The Braxton family are navigating another tragic loss.

Trina Braxton‘s husband Von Scales—whom she wed in 2019—has died, a rep for the singer confirmed on October 1.

“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Von Scales, beloved husband of Trina Braxton,” the statement obtained by the outlet read. “The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers but is asking for privacy at this time as they navigate this unfortunate event.”

Braxton—who is mom to two kids Eric and Caleb  shared glimpses into her relationships on her family’s reality show, Braxton Family Values. In 2018, Braxton shared that her former ex- husband Gabe Solis had passed away at the age of 43 after a cancer battle.

Apparently, a source close to the Braxton family shared that Von passed in the early morning hours of Thursday (October 1).

According to the site, he had been having heart issues, but no cause of death has been confirmed at this time.

Trina and Von got married back in 2019, and their nuptials were featured on Braxton Family Values and later The Braxtons.
