Sonya Curry has gotten remarried!
The mother of three remarried in Arizona. On Thursday, Oct. 8, the 60-year-old author and mother to NBA stars Stephen Curry and Seth Curry, announced her second marriage via social media five years after her divorce from former basketball legend Dell Curry.
“Ecclesiastes 3:1-14,” she captioned an Instagram carousel, quoting the Bible scripture about there being “A Time for Everything.”
Her first photo showed a look at her wedding gown by Pnina Tornai as she kissed her new husband outdoors with the sunset behind them. His identity was not disclosed.
“As I reflect on the past 7 years, I realize I have experienced every season mentioned in Ecclesiastes 3, particularity vs 4,” Sonya wrote of how their love story came to be. “A year ago my mom passed unexpectedly, while simultaneously the most amazing man came into my life! & months [later], I was blessed with becoming his wife!”
She urged her followers to “not lose hope” about accomplishing goals that are important to them, adding that it’s “never too late.
