People magazine finally get it right by naming Idris Elba this year’s sexiest man alive. There is nothing like a black man with an accent. Check out Idris’s response to being named Sexiest Man Alive.

His reaction to the coveted title? “I was like, ‘Come on, no way. Really?’” he revealed. “Looked in the mirror, I checked myself out. I was like, ‘Yeah, you are kind of sexy today.’ But to be honest, it was just a nice feeling. It was a nice surprise — an ego boost for sure.”

Some of the past heartthrobs to claim the title include Chris Hemsworth, George Clooney, Adam Levine, Ryan Reynolds, Bradey Cooper and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
